Full

Full - There is sufficient coverage of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria of this unit.

What the Full or Part Tariff does not cover - The Full or Part Tariff does not mean that the requirements for teaching practice, and where relevant, assessed teaching observations have been met. Where these requirements have not been met this will be addressed by awarding institutions or other relevant bodies. CTLLS also requires completion of a 6 credit Optional Unit

Top up information, APEL and CPD

Where a Full tariff is given, there may still be some assessment criteria which require additional evidence or statements from the student. Where a Part tariff is given, the list of criteria not covered is provided.  These criteria can be found by clicking on the hyperlinked 'Full' or Part' in the result table returned.

Changes over time

There may also be a list of criteria which are deemed to be changes that have been integrated into professional practice over time and included in the new professional standards for teachers. trainers and tutors in England from which the new qualfications were developed.

Both the top up information and changes over time criteria may be evidenced by the student through continuing professional development (CPD) or used to plan future CPD.  It is the responsibility of the awarding institution to address these criteria when declaring exemptions for APEL.
