Evidencing personal literacy and numeracy skills
For those working towards professional status (A/QTLS), another mandatory element is evidencing personal literacy and numeracy skills to a minimum of level 2. One way of doing this is holding an eligible qualification shown on the lists of approved qualifications. Working in Wales with an English ITT qualification
The Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) has recently (July 2010) issues clarification on the professional standing in Wales of teachers or trainers holding FE teaching qualifications gained in England.
